All updates to the normal range models

We are constantly developing our Bonfire model series. Here you can track the latest improvements and the future of the Normal Range models. And don't worry, any improvement can of course be retrofitted by you or us into the Bonfire that has already been delivered (Promise).

April 2026: 2.1 kWh normal range battery

In November 2021 we delivered the first Normal Range Bonfire S and thus also got the first batteries running. After 5 years it is time for an improved battery. Since the space in the battery box of the Normal Range Bonfires is limited, we can currently offer a new Normal Range battery with 2.1 kWh.

April 2024: Suspension upgrade

Every Bonfire can be equipped with new YSS gas pressure struts before delivery or later. These significantly improve driving comfort, extend the rear suspension travel and the spring preload can be infinitely adjusted.

February 2024: Tank with storage compartment and long seat

Every Bonfire can be equipped with the new seat and tank with storage compartment before delivery or later.

Note that the new tank is only compatible with the long seat, meaning both are only offered as a package.

December 2023: Discontinuation of sales of the Normal Range models

We will no longer sell the normal range models as we will concentrate on the long range models. But that doesn't mean you won't receive any spare parts or service for your Normal Range models. There are only small differences between the Long and Normal Range models (battery and the battery box). Over 90% of the components are identical and the frame, brakes, motor, controller, handlebars, fittings, wheels, swingarm and accessories are also completely identical. This means we will continue to improve the normal range models, offer service and offer spare parts.

August 2023: Bonfire E throttling and unthrottling

We now have a special opportunity. We can now sell the Bonfire E with a 45 km/h limit, so you can initially only drive the Bonfire E with a car license like the Bonfire S. As soon as you have your motorcycle license or the B196 extension, we can for one For a surcharge of €200 you can solve your speed limit and enjoy the full power of your Bonfire E.

June 2023: New steering head bearing

We now rely on high-quality steering head bearings. This significantly improves the driving characteristics and eliminates the rattling of the steering head. Now every motorcycle runs extremely quietly.

March 2023: New cable routing

Brake cables and motor cables on the swingarm now have special holders. Not only does it look better, but it also makes dismantling the rear wheel easier and is safer.

February 2023: New handlebars

All Bonfire models now come with the new aluminum handlebars, which are wider and higher than the old handlebars to improve the seating position.

January 2023: Improved framework

In order to make the frame more resistant, each frame is treated with a special corrosion protection before assembly.

December 2022: New wheel protection holders

The front wheel guard is now attached with new, stylish holders. Thanks to the stainless steel screws, there is no more rust and nothing can rattle.

All information about the long range models

What are the differences to the Normal Range model?

There are three big differences:

1. The Long Range models will be delivered from spring 2024.

2. The Long Range models have 70% more range. Instead of a 1.8 kWh battery, a 3.1 kWh battery is used.

3. The Long Range models automatically come with the long seat and the new tank.

Why do the Long Range models only have black or gray tanks?

The Long Range models are automatically delivered with the long seat and new tank. The new tank is manufactured in Hungary and we initially only receive two colors from our supplier.

PS : There will be more colors in the future.

Does the long range battery also fit in a normal range Bonfire?

No, because the Long Range Battery is both 20mm longer and taller and is 6mm wider.

The battery box of the Long Range models is a few cm larger so that the Long Range batteries fit.

PS: It would be possible to replace the battery box of the Normal Range Bonfire with a Long Range battery box. Then the 2.8 kWh batteries would also fit.

Will the long seat and tank with storage compartment also come to the Normal Range models?

Yes, sure! From winter 2023/2024 at the latest, it will be possible to order the long seat and the tank with storage compartment on our website.

The tank and seat will fit all Bonfire models. So if you already have your Bonfire, you can benefit from the upgrade.

Why is the Bonfire Y no longer available as a normal range version?

The Bonfire Y is only offered as a long range version because the range with normal range batteries is too short.

Can I connect the longe range battery in parallel?

Yes, you can connect two long range batteries to the Bonfire S and Bonfire E at the same time. The batteries are then discharged at the same time because the battery management systems communicate with each other.
