Everything about service

Why do I have to maintain the Bonfire/Wildfire?

It is important to maintain your motorcycle properly. This means you can ride safely, extend the life of your motorcycle, avoid higher maintenance costs and receive the full warranty.

Scheduled maintenance prevents expensive repairs later on and to be able to benefit from the warranty it is important that your motorcycle has been well maintained. After maintenance, your bike will be in top condition and will last a long time.

Everything about service for your motorcycle

Why do I have to maintain the Bonfire & Wildfire?

Answer

What is checked during maintenance?

Every vehicle requires maintenance, but our motorcycles require far less maintenance due to the lack of oil, filters, chains, sprockets and other wear parts.

However, the brakes and tires wear out and sometimes old parts are replaced with new ones to improve performance. The maintenance check usually consists of:

  1. Checking and adjusting the brakes
  2. Changing the brake fluid
  3. Software update
  4. Checking nuts and bolts
  5. Checking spokes and wheels
  6. Lubrication of rotating parts
  7. We can also replace the tires upon request (this would cost extra)
Where can I have maintenance carried out?

Depending on the age or mileage of your motorcycle, you can choose the right service.

You also choose the location: at your home or in our workshop (or in the future in one of our partner workshops).

Not included are the costs for tires, which can be replaced if necessary after consultation.

What are the intervals?

The first maintenance must be carried out after 5,000 km or within the first year.

After that, the service must be repeated every 5,000 km.

What should I bring with me to the service?

Nothing, everything is digital with us.

What happens to my 2-year warranty if I don't follow the service plan?

Don't worry, your warranty won't be void if you don't follow the service schedule.

However, if something breaks, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to repair your motorcycle free of charge as we need to check whether this problem could have been avoided by following our service schedule.

Here are some examples for you:

  1. A year has passed and you have not performed any maintenance on your Bonfire. Now your spokes are broken. In this case we cannot repair your Bonfire for free as the spokes are checked and tightened during maintenance. So this problem could be eliminated by our service plan.
  2. A year has passed and you have had your Bonfire serviced. Suddenly your brakes no longer work properly. In this case, we will repair your Bonfire free of charge because you have followed our service schedule.
  3. A year has passed and you have not had your Bonfire serviced. Suddenly your DCDC converter stops working. In this case we will repair your Bonfire for free as the DCDC converter is usually not checked during maintenance and if you are still within the 2 year warranty period, replacing the DCDC converter is always free.

To give you an even better understanding, the following parts cannot be repaired for free if you do not follow our service plan:
